In 2003 he obtained a degree in Law from the University of Catania with full marks.
He obtained a level 2 masters in administrative law from the Scuola Superiore di Catania per la Formazione di Eccellenza with full marks and a PhD in admininistrative law from the University of Catania.
He was accepted to the bar for the Catania district on the 20/12/2006.

His native language is Italian.
He has an excellent knowledge of English as a result of attending courses at the Southampton Institute Law Faculty in 1998/9.
